Volunteer or Provide Foster Care

Animals In Distress is a non-profit organization staffed solely by volunteers who are at the shelter no less than twice a day, every day of the week. Our volunteers participate in the feeding, cleaning and general duties of care associated with providing an environment of love and well being to our residents. At times we may need additional help - providing time and attention to our feline friends.

On occasion we be come overcrowded and are in need of foster care until a permanent home or shelter space becomes available. Animals In Distress provides food, litter, medical attention if necessary and anything else required to assist with foster care. If you're interested in providing foster care to a homeless cat or volunteering at the shelter, please contact us via any of the venues listed above.
